Peak Extract’s founder, a licensed Chinese Herbalist, developed the base for Rescue Rub through years of experimentation in her medical clinic. Adapted from a centuries-old formula for blunt force trauma, 12 terpene-rich herbs are blended with all-natural coconut oil and shea butter to form a therapeutic salve. Designed to ease pain and inflammation, Rescue Rub has won numerous awards for quality and has been featured in Rolling Stone magazine.  All varieties of our Rescue Rubs are hand-made in Portland, Oregon.
